thanksgiving: must have decor!
For those of you who don't skip straight to Christmas immediately after Halloween… (no judgment if you do- do you, boo.) This post is for you! Maybe eight weeks of Christmas decor is too much for you. Maybe you're hosting Thanksgiving this year and want to keep it neutral. Either way, there is some beautiful Thanksgiving decor out there and I have curated a list of some of my favorites to style in your entryway, on your mantle, or anywhere else in the home that could use a festive touch.
Let’s start with a statement piece. Every entryway & mantel needs a mirror. Specifically this dreamy, Instagram famous Anthropologie Gleaming Primrose Mirror. The 3 ft size in black is less of a splurge and will give you a beautiful base for your holiday decor. Layer it with a wreath hung with ribbon or drape some garland over it to add some greenery.
This handmade wheat wreath I found on Etsy was born for Thanksgiving! You could also add a few ornaments as Christmas approaches to get even more use out of it.
Feel free to throw some trees in the mix, just keep it neutral. Browns, tans, and golds are safe to start early and even to keep up all season if bright greens and reds aren't your jam. These natural Threshold Bottlebrush Trees placed on a stack of books for height & trees of different sizes and textures throughout are wonderful transition pieces for that time between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Tis the season for twinkle lights! This pre-lit garland from Target creates the coziest holiday glow. Pair it with your Gleaming Primrose Mirror through the entire holiday season… all the heart eyes!!
I hope these pieces inspire you to savor the joy of Thanksgiving and bring it into your home! Checkout my Friendsgiving article for more inspo and shop my LTK for all the swoon worthy holiday goodies.
