my most used DIY tools
I’m always asked about my most used tools for my DIY projects and furniture flips… so here they are!
compact drill
I use my compact drill for almost EVERY project. I’m not exaggerating! You can use it to remove hardware and to drill new holes for hardware. You can attach a helix to it and use it to quickly & efficiently mix your paint! Heck, you can even attach a scrub brush to it and clean your projects (or home) within seconds! The compact part of this drill makes it super easy to get into any hard-to-reach places. I use HART tools compact drill, which you can find at any Walmart!
jig saw
I was super intimidated by any sort of saw or sharp tools up until recently. I needed a jig saw to help achieve accurate rounded edges on my DIY headboard project. I got the HART tools jig saw since the battery is compatible with my compact drill! I can now use it to cut even the most complex of projects. This tool makes me feel like a real woodworker, LOL!
crown stapler
My crown stapler is like a regular stapler on steroids. It makes upholstery projects SOOOOOO easy and FAST. Which is amazing, especially when you need to upholster 6 dining room chairs. A regular upholstery stapler will always work, but get ready for hand cramps! Either way, remember to buy staples! P.S, this tool also uses the same rechargeable battery as the jig saw & drill listed above. How neat is that!
