An important thing to consider when picking out a rug is how well it will flow with the other colors and patterns in your home. If you are choosing multiple rugs for different areas, consider different styles for each to ensure nothing clashes. For example, a geometric rug- think plaids and stripes. One patterned rug- these are your floral and vintage looking rugs. Lastly, plain rugs- solid, woven, and jute rugs. Plain rugs are also great for layering under the other two styles.
