my current favorite funky rugs

Statement piece rugs that are modern and affordable.

Rugs are a non negotiable for me for a cozy living space- But if you are anything like myself, choosing a rug can sometimes be overwhelming. An important thing to consider when picking out a rug is how well it will flow with the other colors and patterns in your home. If you are choosing multiple rugs for different areas, consider different styles for each to ensure nothing clashes. For example, a geometric rug- think plaids and stripes. One patterned rug- these are your floral and vintage looking rugs. Lastly, plain rugs- solid, woven, and jute rugs. Plain rugs are also great for layering under the other two styles.

If you’re still lost on where to purchase the perfect rug for your space- no worries! I have gathered some of my favorite, funky, budget-friendly rugs for you. You can shop for them here as well as on my Amazon storefront.

The Loloi Geometric Area Rug (BOD-04) is a natural jute rug that is not only stunning but durable, making it a great choice for higher traffic areas. It’s neutral with criss-cross stripes and is the perfect subtle statement rug for any space in the home.

Such a good price on the Safavieh Natural Fiber Accent Rug at Target! We love a jute runner in the kitchen and you can absolutely layer this with a statement rug or one with softer fabric for comfort.

Are you kidding me? This Chris Loves Julia x Loloi Area Rug is absolutely gorgeous and adds so much character to a simple space. Tiled floors are trending and this rug is a great way to get that look for less.

Angela Rose x Loloi Area Rug

Fellow DIYer Angela Rose collaborated with Loloi and designed this beautiful geometric jute area rug. It is blended with cotton for added softness making it even more ideal for your main living space.
