Rugs are a non negotiable for me for a cozy living space- But if you are anything like myself, choosing a rug can sometimes be overwhelming. An important thing to consider when picking out a rug is how well it will flow with the other colors and patterns in your home. If you are choosing multiple rugs for different areas, consider different styles for each to ensure nothing clashes. For example, a geometric rug- think plaids and stripes. One patterned rug- these are your floral and vintage looking rugs. Lastly, plain rugs- solid, woven, and jute rugs. Plain rugs are also great for layering under the other two styles.

Plants to add to your home decor that you can’t kill and won’t kill your wallet. If you find yourself styling a space and thinking, “something is missing”, it is probably a plant. Greenery brings the outside in and truly adds a touch of life to the home.
