faux plants for all budgets

Plants to add to your home decor that you can’t kill and won’t kill your wallet.

If you find yourself styling a space and thinking, “something is missing”,  it is probably a plant. Greenery brings the outside in and truly adds a touch of life to the home. Though, let's be honest, live plants just aren't for all of us. While they are beautiful and have great benefits, they can be a pain to maintain and the bigger ones are pretty pricey. So, if your home is where houseplants go to die- Faux plants are a no maintenance alternative and can easily be paired with just about any style. I have gathered a collection of  my favorite faux plants that are both lifelike and affordable. Visit my Instagram to see how I have styled them throughout my own home & make sure you’re following along to see current projects I’m working on!

This Olive Tree from Target is absolutely beautiful. Tip: spread out and fluff the branches once you remove it from the box. Blow drying the leaves will also help mimic a more natural look

The Fiddle Leaf Fig, she's trendy, she’s cute, and if you've ever owned a real one - you know she’s high maintenance and hard to please. This artificial alternative is much more laid back and will complete any space. Pair her with a natural fiber basket and a pretty window.

Ficus Trees, also known as weeping figs, come in many different versions and sizes. This small triangle ficus tree from Studio McGee is as precious as it is affordable at only $50!

The Banyan Leaf Tree. This tall and slender plant is perfect for a small corner or dead space. No need to find a new base either because the cement pot included is modern and simple enough to vibe with any space.

Target brand Threshold’s version of the Banana tree adds the perfect botanical touch to a room. This plant + a funky rug, yes please!! Speaking of, stay tuned for a funky rug haul and make sure you’re following me on instagram for more home decor and DIY tips!
